Leadership (2000 × 500 px).jpg
At Bethel Baptist Church we believe it is biblical for Christians to commit themselves to a local church and likewise for the leadership of that church to shepherd them.  To become a church member, an individual must be trusting in Christ alone for salvation, be baptized by immersion, and be in agreement with Bethel's statement of faith and philosophy of ministry.
Baptism
We believe that baptism is an ordinance of the Lord. We believe that when you repent and come to faith you are united with Christ and baptism express your union with Christ in his death and resurrection, as you are immersed in water in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. It is a also a sign that you belong to the new people of God
How do I become a member?
  • Fill out the membership/baptism application. Submit online form or turn in paper copy to church office.
  • An elder will contact you to set a time to meet with 2 elders and walk through your application/testimony.
  • If you have not been baptized, the elders will set a baptism date to be baptized before the church.
  • If the elders recommend you for membership, you will be brought before the church for the church to affirm your testimony and the elders recommendation.
