Mission Statement: Our purpose is to point those in our care to the one true God of the Bible, and to His Son, Jesus Christ as the one path to salvation. To guide youth as they grow from their family’s faith into their own adult faith.
John 17:1-3 - Jesus spoke these things; and raising His eyes to heaven, He said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, so that the Son may glorify You,  just as You gave Him authority over all mankind, so that to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

We enjoy being a partner with parents in the evangelism & sanctification of their junior high & high school children, and to help foster discussion within the home. We see this mission as part of the Great Commission:
Matthew 28:18-20 - And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
We strive to have open communication with you throughout the year.  We’ll try to have an email every week that tells you what we discussed, along with any thoughts for further study that come up during the evening. We’d love to get feedback as well! Even though we are teaching to the masses, we will connect individually with each of the teens. We can compare notes as to what we each see in them, but you see them so much more than we do, and in “everyday” settings, so parental input is a great help.

Our teaching will come in 3 distinct phases:
  1. Main teaching time, full group. This is where we will hit the main points of the lesson.
  2. Small group time. In this setting, the leaders can dial in the main points to a smaller age group and encourage discussion and questions.
  3. Home time. The emails can serve as a springboard for you dial the teaching in even closer, since you know your kids’ needs better than we do.
The goals of the teaching time are these:
  1. Help the teens grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ,  Acts 16:31;  1 John 5:11-12, 3;  Romans 8:28-29
  2. Give them opportunities to proactively serve Christ & others, 1 Corinthians 12:12-31; Philippians 2:1-18
